A thick and rich chili, complete with spices and beans.
INSTRUCTIONS
Ingredients Needed
1 package Harry & David® Chicken Chili Soup Mix
7 cups water
2½ cups chicken broth
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cubed
1 (4 oz) can fire-roasted diced green chilies (optional)
Preparation
• Pick through the beans and remove any small stones or debris. Rinse the beans under cool water to wash away any dust.
• In a stockpot, combine beans with 5 cups of water.
• Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
• Drain beans and return them to the pot.
• Add remaining 2 cups of water, chicken broth, chicken, vegetable packet, spice packet, and green chilies (if using).
• Return to a boil, then reduce heat. Cover and simmer for an additional 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
