Click HereThat long-awaited summer sun is finally back, and so are our irresistible cherries! Incredibly sweet and juicy with a delightfully crisp bite, cherries are chock-full of potassium, vitamin C, and antioxidants. There are two main types of cherries that are produced in the United States: sweet and tart “sour” cherries. Most sweet cherries, such as the heart-shaped Bing, the bright-red Lambert, and the gold-toned Rainier, are grown in California, Washington, and Oregon. No matter what variety you like best, cherries are the perfect complement to your favorite summer dishes and desserts—like a plump cherry pie or the cherry on top of an ice cream sundae.
Learn Even More About Cherries
We have now moved past bloom, and all early indications are that our bees did a good job of pollinating. Our orchardists are thinning peaches and pears to encourage larger fruit at harvest. They are also busy with our irrigation system and fertilizing, ensuring that the trees get just the right amount of water and nutrients.
We’re thrilled to partner with The Peach Truck to bring you fresh, handpicked Georgia peaches for the very first time. These sweet southern fruits will ship during June and July. For Father’s Day, we will also ship early harvest peaches grown in California’s Coachella Valley.
In June and July, we will be shipping cherries grown in Washington, DulceVida nectarines from California, and mangoes from Mexico.
