Cheddar Chocolate Truffle Dip

Jessica Merchant | Appetizers, Dessert, Chocolate |American

Salty/sweet desserts take on another form in this Cheddar Chocolate Truffle dip. Using Harry & David chocolate truffles and cheese, this is an appetizer or dessert that will enchant your taste buds.

While cheddar cheese and chocolate truffles sound like a weird combination, keep the salty/sweet concept in mind. This gooey, melty dip is not too different from a chocolate cheesecake. There is a slightly stronger cheddar taste, but it is more than made up for with the truffles piled on top. And if you're still thinking twice, just imagine a chocolate cheesecake with a pretzel crust. This isn't that far off at all! This yummy dip is perfect to serve at holiday parties or get-togethers. It's definitely outside the box and may take a bit of convincing, but it is completely worth it. Plus, it works as an appetizer OR dessert!
